Does anybody know where I can buy a reciprocating saw in the TRNC ?
Alternatively, if someone has an old one they dont use, and want to sell it, then please let me know.

If you don't get any response on here, there's a big tool shop in the town centre, opposite the car park, near the roundabout, where the buses stop.
Also there's some info on hire shops
here - they may also have tools for sale.

You could try Paralik on the RHS going East between krakum and Catalkoy . Extensive range of quality power tools in stock.

Thanks for the info on this..............
Tried Paralik, who sell the Makita version for 550tl, and YAR (next to the town centre roundabout...as advised) who sell the DeWALT version for about the same price.
The next problem is finding the money !!

As you have seen, there are two qualities here, Good, and cheap. The good are the named brands, Makita, and the beautiful yellow handled ones which I dream of owning, etc etc and there are others. I had a falling out with our local Marshalls who sold me some taps that broke under hand tightening...and when I raised hell he said "Brits want cheap". We reached an understanding that they dont sell me crap.
Save up your pennines, my Makita saw is now 15 years old, my Japanese chisels have been sharpened once in 10 years and they cut like a samurais sword. Quality dont come cheap....no compromise needed.

DEWALT DW311
or
DeWALT DC305 36v
Both very strong and not cheap but will last you a long time, cheaper saws are not as robust and will not take the hard work these tools can.
