How much should I expect to pay for a dog kennel to fit a dog a bit bigger than a pointer? Any suggestions as to the cheapest places to get one, particularly East of Girne.
If anyone has one too sell please let me know.

Don't know what you would expect to pay for a large dog but I had a large one built for my cat a couple of years ago. It was actually the size for a small dog so he has plenty of room for moving around inside. If I remember correctly it cost around £20. It is still as good as new and has stood up to all weathers. It was made by a guy in Ozankoy village just along from the Happy Garden restaurant.

Amazed at the prices being asked for badly made chipboard kennels. I did see a beatifully made one for sale at the Ekectrokur shop in Girne but it was too small.
It looks like the guy wh makes them in Ozankoy is my best bet.
Could you give me directions Judyvin as the only place I know in Ozankoy us the Bookshop.

Hi,
Directions to the guy in Ozankoy:
With the Ozankoy bookshop on your left hand side follow the one way road through to the village centre. You will pass the garage on the right hand side and going straight on you will come to the main square. On your right you will pass the Happy shop and then the Happy Garden restaurant and shortly after you will see a house, slightly elevated, that has kennels outside. There is some building work going on there at the moment but he still has kennels outside so I assume he is still in business.

I think you are referring to the comfy pet Shop Woodspeckie?
I went there to find the very cheaply made wood chip kennels were 200-250 TL. Rip off! I don't mind paying but for that price I expect some quality. I needed to buy a flexi lead the other week and called in there. His price was 25tL more than the pet shop by the Bellapais traffic lights.
Also, he sells puppies so for that reason alone I would never give him my business.
But thanks for your post, it was appreciated.
Thank you Judy Vin for your directions. I will go there at the end of the week. If he's not in business I will be interested if there are any clever Kibkom members who may make one for me:)
