We are renting a property from March to end July which does not have any internet connection. Is there a system available that can provide a temporary connection? I recall Turkcell offered a dongle and you paid monthly,is such a system still available? If so is it any good?

Here is a link to Turkcell website but there's not a lot of info http://www.kktcell.com/en/bireysel/kesfet/internet
We have a Turkcell 3g Gezz dongle for sale, used once by my son - You put a SIM in it and then plug it into a USB port. Looking for 40tl ono. If you are interested PM me.

It really depends on what you want to use the internet for and the number of users. If there are several users/devices that you want to use to access the internet I would recommend a Wi-Fi package from Multimax. They offer a freedom package for which you pay for installation and then pay for the number of days you require or for 5 months it may work out cheaper to opt for their 6 month package.

Not sure if this will help but when we were out last we bought a mifi. A little box that you can plug in or take with you. It's a portable wifi. We bought ours from the Turckcell shop in town, it came with a sim with 6gig and valid fir a month. You can top up with different sizes when it runs out or expires. We could run our 2 iPads and it says you can run more devices, can't remember how many. I think it cost about 120 lira but can't remember how much to top up, but depends on how many gig you buy.

Bought an unlocked mifi on Amazon 2 years ago and have used it in different countries and it works great. We just buy a turkcell simcard from lemar and they fit it in for you and like Terri299 says it lasts a month and you can use it anywhere.
