dogankoy, one way system

I know comments on the standard of driving here are not new.
I would like to ask the residents of dogankoy why they fail to understand the benefits of the one way system in their village.
Going the wrong way in the one way system might shave seconds off their journey time but it is really very dangerous.
Even in north cyprus, the last thing I expect in a one way system is to see a car approaching me from the wrong direction
I have seen thus in ozankoy but nothing like as bad.
Good system people, dont be lazy and selfish, please follow these simple rules!

You are talking good manners and common sense here, the locals do neither!! Only today a van came through Ozankoy not only the wrong way but at terrifying speed, they don't really give a monkeys for abiding by any rules.

Here in Alsanck we have a roundabout. Not used the correct way by many many locals & expats unless forced by other traffic. Time saved about 5 to 10 seconds.

Following message 4,-- we also have a one-way system in Alsancak village, just past the post office. Up the East side of the ravine to Old Milos, and down the West side. My son was driving up correctly, when confronted by a woman driving wrongly down! He had nowhere to go , so she should have reversed onto an open piece of land, but instead, she got out of her car, crossed to his and punched him hard through his open window. This was seen by several people, one being his neighbour, who called the police. They came rapidly, advised him that because he wasn't injured, not to prosecute. It transpired the following day that the woman was related to a previous Muhtar!!!

..and if you don't prosecute she gets to do it again to someone else another day. Why should anyone care about a person who is related to a "previous" Muchtar.

No prosecution policy if it involves foreigners against the locals,However what would have happened if your son after being punched got out of his car punched her in the face breaking her jaw and knocking out a few teeth.
