Does anyone know of an architect who would be willing to adjust our existing drawings - internal alterations only - for our planned, but urgent, kennel block refurbishment ? Maybe someone retired here?

If so could they please contact or visit the KAR offices as soon as possible.

Suggest you add 'for KAR' in the title. I will if you want me to, but did not want to edit your posting without permission. I think you might get more readers if you add those two words.

If the regulations are the same as for domestic properties you have to use the original architect as no one is able to amend their plans.

If you alter already passed plans you will have to re aply with the altered ones if it is for the electrics they wont connect if they are not as passed

Thanks for your replies, don't worry we will follow the rules. We're treated just like everyone else with things like this and have to be seen as been whiter than white.

I would suggest you contact the Institue of Architects in Lefkosa.
They are the best to advice you in process and procedure regarding choice of architect and limitations "if any" on structural and internal building alterations.
Unlike the UK, here "in TRNC" Architect role and involvement and supervision of works are limited or unclear. If you want to make sure you are moving in the right direction, better contact the Institute.
