On the Girne to Catalkoy main road in front of the old Octopus Park, next door to the Grove, Havana, and whatever else it has been called over the years

Coming from Girne if you pass the big furniture store on the left you have gone too far
Coming from Catalkoy if you have passed Bergamot on the right you have gone too far
Hope this helps you get to the correct area

We had lunch there yesterday. Crispy squid and crispy prawns.
Very good food. Very good prices. Very nice people.
Only comment is the food was served on cold plates. Maybe salad could be served on a separate plate, and the fish and chips on a hot plate.
Will certainly go again.

It is exactly midway between Lemar Catalkoy and Supreme supermarkets. i.e. Heading East - 700 metres past Lemar and 700 metres before Supreme - OK I'm a bit OCD...

Called into Crispy Squid for lunch yesterday, very nice guy, father and son team. Haddock and chips very good only 22 TL. Plates now warm and salad served on a separate side plate, quick learners this team. Eat in or out take away.

I wish them every possible success, if attention to detail counts for anything, success is assured

Had a take-out last night (Thursday). In my opinion, the 'cod and chips' was excellent and very generous portions - my wife could not finish hers! Did not have to wait too long. Only problem was no mushy peas, but was assured that they are coming. His number is 0548 860 2688, in case you want to order in advance.

We had a take out on Wednesday and the food was great.

I had Haddock and chips and the wife and daughter had savaloy (which they said was better than the U.K ).

No curry sauce was the only problem.

Wish them all the luck I for one will go back.

Peter.

Been to Crispy Squid today for a takeaway. My husband and I both had cod and chips. They were absolutely delicious.

Will definitely go again.

Depends who is on duty to cook it, as went one Friday was lovely, chunky white fish an fresh, however went one Sunday an fish came up curled up on plate over cooked an was not nice, but at least it had some fish to eat inside the batter,an thought it was a one off, so went back again an the fish was less than 1/4 inch thick so tiny grey inside an batter so burnt an over cooked none of us could eat it,was disgusting.
But it's what happened next that was bad management, when we complained the young guy just shrugged his shoulders an one of the managers hid in the back, very bad customer service he should have dealt with it,
Needless to stay after twice bad food an service none of us will return, rather go further to SALTYS always fresh thick white fish an home cooked crispy chips not soggy hot plates an good price as portion of fish is bigger an he knows how to cook fish an manage customers.

Ah nothing like a good fish and chip debate ! Tried Crispy Squid twice it was good not great, battered sausage was awful, will return, been to Salty's several times never been happy with quality of food, best overall and value for money for me in this area is still the Stroll Inn.

Huggiesbob. Maybe you should have left a bit more time between your visits to see if it improved 3 visits in 11 days?
