Whats Happened to the electric?

I'm in Lapta, mountainside and our electric went off in the early hours after the huge clap of thunder, and still not back. Is everyone the same or just my area? and does anyone know what's happened.

Mine went off in Ozankoy and I checked the fuse box and it had tripped.

Silly question but have you also checked?.

Peter, it's not really a silly question, I did get caught out with that 5 or 6 years ago, so now that's the first thing I always do is check to see that it hasn't tripped. A friend also in Lapta did not have it either earlier on this morning, but I just wondered if anyone new why.

We had a lıttle raın ın Lapta last nıght,horrıfıc thunderstorms and lıghtenıng.And these were overhead !!I confess I was um havıng a wee about 3ısh,and bang...electrıcıty off,then haıl storms.Nıce 2 hours ın sun am.electrıc back on late mornıng.....welcome to TRNC
