Try the timber merchant in the centre of Girne opposite the car park. They sell all sorts of timber. Ask for a gentleman called "Vetat or Vedad". He could advice you if they have planed timber / not sure if they have a workshop at the back of their depot.
Timber merchants know where to get the timber planed. if you don't have transport, they probably arrange for the wood to be planed & delivered.
don't forget to learn the in Turkish "terminology used for planed timber". it would help you and save the agony of trying to explain what you want.
Always ask, if they don't have what you need, they might tell you where to get it from

The timber merchants sell unplained timber you have to have it delivered to a workshop for plaineding.
The wood yard opposite the car park is the best in Girne, most of the other suppliers the wood is twisted as it is not stored right.

Many thanks for the replies, very helpful. Gates I've used Coban quite a bit in the past so will try there first.
Cheers
