Snowing here mountainside, near Baspinar, it's lovely. Saw some children out having snowball fights.

Just over 3 inches now in Baspinar , and falling thick and fast, big flakes looks pretty, but limited visibility .

In Tonbridge we were just saying we can see spring round the corner as we've had a couple of lovely sunny days and feel in warmer.

Can someone send these pics to the British government who think we Ex-pats are sitting in the Mediterranean Winter, supping G&T's around the pool in the glorious sunshine!! That is why our Winter Fuel Allowance is being stopped from this year. I have just had my 5th delivery from Jetgaz since 10th December!! 4 degrees at 7am this morning!

I just worked out that in the last 8 weeks I have spent 645tl on gas bottles and electricity and never really been totally warm. I dont get WFA wish I did it would be very useful. Cold and broke thats me.

Yes deniz we did that WFA to death few weeks ago .
Incidentally you seen the heavy snow in Istanbul on the news ?

Yes, but they have mains gas there so central heating is an option to expensive to run and install here . Never mind soon be summer.
