Snowfall at Karsiyaka

Snow (yes - the wet white stuff!) has been falling steadily since about 0900 at Karsiyaka. Quite a beautiful Christmas card effect although I cannot see Mt Korma for the snowfall.

No snow here at the other end of the island but so very cold, especially the wind. Hate the wind!!

Still snowing down at sea level and had hail stones earlier.

Around 10:00AM this morning, 19 Feb, heavy hail stones in Kyrenia town centre.

It's melting now and I have no film in my camera.

Ps did anyone come over from Nicosia this morning, was around 2-3 inch of snow on the road. And they still drive like crazy.

Stay indoors, keep warm, light a fire ....
