Gentle yoga for over 50s moved to Thursday

I went to this class this morning and I must say it was brilliant. Feel so much better and pleased that I could do all the moves without feeling disheartened as it was all very geared to people with stiff joints like me
I highly recommend it.
The class is moving next week to Thursdays 11 to 12 pm

I agree with all you say Eleanor. BRILLIANT! I told me friend Maxine about it and she'll be there next Thursday. I also sang all the way back to Esentepe on me scooter. La la la la la la la. John

Becoming so popular that Julie said she'll start another gentle yoga class. Beautiful yoga studio and a passionate teacher who loves what she does. And... Cor blimey it don't arf work those bits that haven't been exercised for a while and I should now coz I'm 27. Oh sorry numbers should be other way around: 72.

There is a yoga retreat in Alsancak, don't know if they do classes. (Satya Retreat)

Hi All,
My name is Julie and I hold Yoga classes (discussed here) in my Catalkoy home studio. I am a certified yoga instructor and also can provide private lessons or group lessons.
I provide a relaxing,safe environment for people of all levels and ages to explore yoga, both body and mind. I incorporate breath work to slow down the nervous system and end with a nice guided or silent meditation. The benefits of yoga range from lowering blood pressure, to improving posture, finding balance (in mind and body) strengthening muscles, becoming more flexible and so much more.
My weekly schedule is:
Tuesday and Thursday - Vinyasa Flow Yoga (all levels but requiring a certain level of fitness) 9-10 am
Thursday 11-12 Gentle Yoga with support of a chair. (this class perfect for seniors, or folks with any joint issues, knee or back sensitivities etc. We move through a vinyasa flow but use a chair for sitting and standing postures as support.
