Had the same problem, saying the web site was infected with a virus.

Well it's not and the download via torrent is fine. it's only an MP4 and a Jpeg file no executables
As a matter of interest, what virus checkers are you using (both of you)...
Try this if you are worried about KickAss

Tried again this morning and down load was ok, I us Kickass to down load films all the time.
It was Malwarebytes that would not let me down load yesterday.

karmels, Malwarebytes doe's not like Kickass at all and will often deny access to it. Try this site for films:
https://yts.re/ Download from Rarbg.com whenever possible and try using Vuse (Azureus.exe) as your Torrent download engine. I have been using Malwarebytes Pro, Rarbg.com and Vuse successfully for the past two years without any problem. In fact, since the demise of Pirate Bay, Rarbg.com seems to have grown in use exponentially! I use all of these on the Win 7, Win 8.1 and Linux Mint platforms without problems, however, Vuse can sometimes be slow in activating - starting up on your PC/Laptop - just give it time and if worried open Task Manager and see what is happening! Good luck all.

Groucho, I did use the torrent, and my browser is Chrome.
Am now downloading Turks and Caicos using your link - thanks.
Waddo, I wish I understood your post (I am a computer Luddite!), but I assume that
http://www.Rarbg.com is a good replacement for PirateBay.

Talking of great films, absolutely loved, What We Did On Our Holidays. fairly new and got from DVD shop Alsancak. Not normally a fan of Billy Connolly, but thought he was splendid in this.

P.B. Yes, it is a very good replacement for PirateBay. This link will explain what Malwarebytes is for you:
https://www.malwarebytes.org/ an essential if you download across the Internet - it won't catch everything but it is very good. This link will explain Vuse:
http://www.vuze.com/ it is simply a BitTorrent and like the one you will already be using - probably uTorrent is what you have now, that seems to be the most popular. The site address I gave above (yts.re/) is the gateway to thousands of free films - never had even a sniff of a virus off any of them. Hope this helps.
