If you manage to find anyone who stocks the smaller type of tile, can you let me know. All I've managed to find are snooty assistants that tell me "people only buy this size now" when I'm shown wall tiles almost the size of paving slabs. If that's what you're looking for then I would recommend Porcelanosa in Girne.

When choosing tile always choose tiles made in Turkey as they are very easy to replace after 10 years. If you choose Italian tiles you have no chance to replace them after a few years.
This information was given to me by Ermatas and Mepas.

Sorry to be highjacking your thread fincho!! All I want is to try and find 20 tiles about 7" x 9" to replace ones that fell off in one of our bathrooms (crappy tiler - not enough cement or whatever) If I can't then I'll have to have the whole of the bathroom retiled!! I was hoping there was some little Yapi Market down a back street somewhere that kept a few old stock.

Have they suggested you go to their storage site down near Diana Beach? You may find something similar we wandered around for a bit and found ones we had used in 2004 and were advised they didn't sell them anymore. Only 3 boxes left but it was enough for us!

cjh.
So you would buy and store 2 mtrs of tiles just in case, bathroom, kitchen guest toilet ect a lot of tiles to store safely.

Snd1966 that's the best suggestion so far!! What's the name of the company that has store near Diana Beach. Sorry but don't know that area very well at all. Looking for 2005 tile. It doesn't have to be exact. I can disguise with some pictures if necessary.

if you want plain white with no ripple efect Ermatas has some you can cut down give it a go

The Mepas warehouse (not quite as described but managed to find it - it's a large building right in the middle of a middle of a field) and is an Aladdins cave. I was shown towards the back of a large area to where literally thousands and thousands of tiles are piled up exposed to the elements. There are tiles going back 10 years plus and with a very helpful gentleman lifting and carrying we found what I was looking for. I need about 20 and finally found them. Paid 20 lira and am very pleased. Thanks for recommending it. Anyone else looking to match older tiles, its CERTAINLY THE PLACE TO GO but be prepared to get a bit dirty and to climb over broken pallets and such.
