(why would we, you say and its all too much Turkish, my interview is 31 minutes into the program.

I support this group, partly for company, learning more Turkish and helping by advertising here and elsewhere, but also because the new mayor of Dipkarpaz wants to have control of it and they don't want a man muscling in, but he is trying to stop them at every way, by not letting them use the rooms and resources that the previous mayor allowed. They are very lucky to have a very energetic woman leader. She has now formed the group into Dipkarpaz ÇATOM KOOP. The also have the support of various politicians, like Mrs. Erdogan, Kudret Özersay and others.

Thanks Dippers Girl for bringing this out into the open. Some of us are very aware of the background to this, and the Mayor is somewhat cramping the style of the potential of this group, who it was hoped would have had stuff to sell at the NCCCT fair at Christmas.

I do hope it gets sorted satisfactorily.

I was thinking of you today as I was going to come up for the dya but..............maybe later in the week and I will scrounge a cup of coffee.

The mayor did want his wife to run it but the women did not want her, karmels!!!! The woman who runs it is very strong and all the other women feel, she will make the group a success.

Good on your group for standing up to this politician, this is why I posted my question, as you may have gathered we have lived here a long time so know what goes on. This is the reason this man is trying to control the ladies group.
