Pegasus baggage rules
Does anyone know please if Pegasus allows you to share you baggage allowance with others on your PNR. It is not clear from their website. We have one 23 kilo and one 15 kilo suitcase but don't want to pay for excess baggage.

I would double check that. The way it reads on their website they do not let you pool luggage. However what they do when you check in is another matter.Take a risk or pay up front its up to you.Booked online excess baggage is € 6.00 per Kilo over,at the airport it states € 10 euro on their website but other people have been charged €12.00.

Re: Pegasus baggage rules
Further to my information above. If you go onto Pegasus website go into general rules, then into baggage and portable materials, then go to allowed and excess baggage.Look down the list two thirds the way down it states,'In the event that there is more than one person on the PNR each passenger must purchase their own separate excess baggage allowance'
There is then a table of charges which clearly states €10 euro per kilo if purchased at the airport, but I know of two people on here who have been charged €12.00 per kilo.So my advice is try to get twenty kilo in each bag or pay the excess at €6.00 online before you travel.

Excuse me if this is a daft question, but why can't you pack the two cases so they are both under 20kilos? That way there is no hassle, no worries about hbuge or even bigger excess charges etc etc.
Anyway, that is what I would do. I used to travel with a family of 6 and always packed the cases so none of them was over, and no excess to pay.

Re: Pegasus baggage rules
My experience with Pegasus is that they allow the combined weight if 2 people are travelling.

I am also in possession of an email from Pegasus Customer Services which states that 'Luggage allowance is for each individual passenger and cannot be shared'.

Re: Pegasus baggage rules
Thank you all for your help. I normally travel Turkish so no problem but won't risk it with Pegasus. We will just have to do some re packing when we meet up at Stansted!

Re: Pegasus baggage rules
I would certainly do some repacking. I travelled back with Pegasus in January and was charged £22.00 for being one and half kilos over on their scales. I say their scales, because I weighed my suitcase on three different scales before setting off and it weighed under 20 kilos. You do get 8 kilos allowancefor your onboard luggage as well.

Re: Pegasus baggage rules
I used to have regular problems with the weight of my bags with Pegasus - I used to try weighing myself and the bag but always seemed to be over weight,
I then bought one of these

and since have had no problems - it must have saved me a small fortune.
