Kibkom North Cyprus Forum

To counter the number of unverified businesses and charities that advertise on the forum, we have created the "Verified TRNC Business Badge" and "Verified TRNC Charity Badge". The badge will be given to all businesses and charities that have proved themselves to be legitimately registered, and thus will give Kibkomers an assurance as to who they are dealing with.

We would ask businesses and charities to apply for their badge NOW, giving their company name and registration number and company contact details to info@kibkom.com

We are sure that this move will help both businesses and members alike.

Not licensed to do the job is more like it. I've just mentioned to Soner that being registered at the TAX office is NOT enough. A company needs to be certified by the controlling department or association to carry out any professional activity. Most companies that claim they do this or that do not have those certifying papers as a matter of fact.

still advertisers here say, if asked for prove,
- "our registration number is available to those customers that are considering using our services"
hä? our registration number is available for everybody, no matter they buy or not (see profile)
or
- "Our accountants will also be happy to disclose any further information to the authorities where required"
would be funny if the accountant refuses...

Well, for some companies it's a bit "intimate" so-to-say to share their registration papers upon request with complete strangers. For example, we send out copies only to trusted people/organisations, who need to use it in their work (government, administration, banks, etc.)

For everyone else who's interested - welcome to our office! It's all there on the shelf, definitely nothing is hidden.

So glad to have you all on board as registered businesses, and if anyone asks for proof of this - tell them to look at KibKom. We do not give that special status unless you have proved it to us. So what more proof could anyone want!???

Also at KibKom we hope that through our pages and through your registration with u,s you will get lots of lovely new business!

That way, we are all happy. We are all providing services to the public and we all want everyone's lives to be brighter and better.

well,
iam sure that kibkom does not want "intimates" to be shown here or to them.... as shareholders, the last tax declaration and so on.
i took some of my time to go through many posts @ KibKom and not many businesses bother to get a badge....
or, they can not get a badge..

but, it seems that at the moment the verified businesses got the "with us you have to pay VAT badge"

for the ones "with the badge" there is only one way:
check the related posts more often and ask: are you a registered business in the TRNC? and if, then get the badge...

Great Idea, From a very well run forum. It is important that the Businesses are verified in this Market as it improves the standards of workmanship and intern gives the island a better Reputation for quality and honest business.
This forum is a great platform for references and that helps give peace of mind to the potential clients.
