Hi I would appreciate any advice from anyone who knows where I can launch a jet ski in, or around, the Lapta, Alsancack, Karsiyaka area?.
I know Lapta harbour have a newly concreted slipway which looks ideal, but I don't know whether there are charges or whether I have to become a member of the harbour in order to use the facilities?.
Any advice/help will be greatly appreciated.

Slipway at Camelot Beach Alsancak?

Just after Rosies bar turn into the waste land before the start of the walkway,this is where all the locals put their jet ski,s and small boats in as there is a small channel dug into the rock ,look for a small launch area worn away by vehicles backing up.

All that I ask is that you are mindful of the turtle breeding areas and stick well clear of them when the breeding season starts - Mid-May until October... If you hit a large turtle you'll know it - it will total the the Jet-Ski and dump you in the drink so it's a lose/lose situation.....

Where to launch a jet ski ??

Hopefully not near our residence.
Jet skis can cause and have caused horrific accidents, pollute the sea, harm sea life. The noise from these things are horrific.
Not a fan of jet skis they should be banned in my opinion.

Seconded kiplet, I am glad someone else cares about the environment! They also harm and frighten away dolphins, which used to be seen around the shores of North Cyprus

Groucho. I'm not a hooligan and appreciate your concerns regarding the turtle population. Maybe I should have posted "where a responsible adult can launch a jet ski"
