Could anyone tell me please (approximately obviously) the cost of a taxi from central Ozankoy to east Girne (say around HSBC area) and return after an hour or two, morning time.

Ragged Robin - a tip. Face the sea looking at the southern Turkish coast = north. Turn right 90 degrees - east, turn right another 90 degrees - south, turn right another 90 degrees = west. My wife has a nightmare with directions and this procedure helped her. I hope this helps you.

Perhaps it's best just left alone.....

I usually work on the basis that the sun shines into my kitchen window on my right hand side in the morning, therefore that is East.
Trouble is I was facing in a different direction when I typed the post

Now for the difficult one: does anyone have any idea how much a taxi would cost in the UK for a similar journey? Yeah I know it depends on traffic, I am just trying to get comparative travel costs for someone with mobility problems.

It is 10tl from the big car park Girne to the Pia Bella, so I would reckon Ozankoy to HSBC around 30tl
