Could I really be the only one who thinks Russell Brand is a total and utter waste of Oxygen, just read some of his remarks about Jihadi John and other anti western world rants. He who came to the public attention through some crappy reality TV show, as the front to now after he as made shed loads of money, and who publicly humiliated a former girlfriend on TV & radio. To start and preach to the very people who gave him his "fame" and bank balance about our attitudes towards the people, who would given half a chance destroy our democracy and our way of life.

One dreadful man. He always looks like a good scrub. Whatever did Gemma Khan see in him !!!!!

Someone regularly comments under the name "Rissole Bland" on a Cyprus newspaper - says it all about the little attention seeking creep.

Now that would be interesting, despite his wealth Brand is a leftie and Clarkson ultra right wing. Leave them on a desert island with Ross trying to keep them apart.

Beg to differ he is not a " leftie" as you put it, he is actively trying to stop people voting, he as far as I can tell he is not of any political persuasion other than to gain notoriety by offering up nasty anti British "propaganda" not sure if that's the right word but it is probably the only way he can get noticed. He with out question is a nasty vicious piece of dog Ooops.

I suppose one could say he is more anarchist than leftie, however a synopsis in wiki described him thus;- "The author advocates a social revolution wherein, "corporate tyranny, ecological irresponsibility and economic inequality" come to an end.[5] It proposes the eradication of the "nation state", the demise of multinational corporations and the injection of spiritual thought into the structure of society."

"Economic inequality coming to an end" is surely the aspiration of a socialist. Whatever his politics, he's a mouthy little prat.
