Hi Does anyone know how long the medical check up at the Kolan hospital takes also any reccomendations for a mammogram in Girne and an idea of the cost.Thanks in advance.

I would think most private hospitals have brochures/price lists at their reception. Kamiloglu(Girne), Ozel Hastanesi(Girne),Near East hospital(Lefkosa),Kolan (Lefkosa)do. Go in and get some to compare prices.

OK, Kyrenia Medical Centre, cost approx 200 TL, but you must ask for both procedures (may get a discount if a member of BRS, you'll need to check). State hospital also does these tests, probably cheaper, but cost unknown. Newly opened NEH out-clinic in Girne may also do these procedures. Hope this helps.

OK, stand in front of the bank with the building site in front of you on the far side of the road (Ziya Rizki Cd.). Cross the road and turn left towards the town centre. Take the first right into Işil Sk. On your right there is a pharmacy, then a clinical laboratory, then the KMC (No 4). Parking is tight here but if you continue past the hospital and take the 1st left (20 metres approx.) you can usually park in this road or one of the others it leads on to. Contact details: Tel: 0533 862 9214/0542 0162/63 (usually English-speaker available - Trish or Jane). The English-speaking receptionist's station is immediately on the left as you enter the building.
