Hi guys,
Is there anyone here in the TRNC who makes dog treats/biscuits. There used to be a couple who sold them at the old Bambo Sunday market, just wondering if they or anyone still does them and where I can buy from, thanks in advance.

Why not have a go at making them yourself? There are plenty of recipes on the web. Perhaps someone on this forum has a good recipe they can share.

Butterfly - got this recipe ages ago - not tried it myself but hope it works for you.
Re: Dog Biscuit Recipe Please!
Try this one:
1 1/2 lb flour
8 oz porridge oats
3 beef/chicken stock cubes
2 beaten eggs - one's enough actually, just add more stock
1 lb mince - use whatever you fancy - ox heart or kidney or chicken livers
are cheap (about 3 1/2 TL)
1 cup stock - made by simmering whichever meat you use before mincing
Mix it all together into a dough. It should be dry enough to handle without sticking to your hands
Hand roll/flatten into biscuits/patties to whatever size you wish
Place on a sheet of oiled greaseproof paper
If feeling posh, glaze with milk!!!!
1 hr at 180 deg C
