The onus is on the buyer but when you both go to fill in the sale form make sure that you get a photo copy of the completed/signed /stamped form and keep it safe so that if there is any dispute later with the police etc you have your evidence of transfer

The form can be obtained from the tax office behind the hospital ..
This form can be filled in at the Muctars office .. Both buyer & seller to go along with cars documents & copies of passports ..
The buyer then has a week to take the form to the tax office in Lefkosa ..
This how my friend sold his car in Ozankoy ..

I wouldn't rush to the tax office in Lefkosa, they have been on strike for over a week.
