Before it sinks ?

I don't really bother with TV since leaving the UK , tending only putting it on to watch a DVD, However due to a severe dose of manflu I found myself sitting about watching a Police documentary , (Motorway Police I think ).

The organised gangs Poles, Romanians, major orgainsed shoplifting than asking for solicitor, no doubt paid for by the UK taxpayer. Every offender on the show was an Import, so to speak.

It was appalling to see this in our once great country. It must be bad because to the best of my knowledge crime by ethnics is heavily red taped, so as not to cause racial tension. (or at least it always was) So how much crime are they really carrying out ?

I do not think the UK can now ever be saved it as gone to far downhill. I think it would take a Idi Amin type politician.

What is your opinion ?

Prior to leaving the UK in 2005 I worked for the Metropolitan Police , we had an anti-street robbery initiative , so the streets of Lewisham, Deptford , New Cross etc were flooded with Officers, TSG etc one weekend and despite statistics showing that 90% of street crime in this area was commited by " Those from an ethnic minority", It was deemed a failure by senior management team as we'd not stopped and searched a proportionate number of whites, The UK that I grew up in , is no longer.

If an Idi Amin type politician is the 'cure' then to me it is one that is far worse than the 'disease' as you describe it. Is this an April fools thing ?

Yes of course I am an import and respect the laws of this country , and if I drove around in my car with a other expats and organised shoplifting, then finished up in Girne Police station with the securtity tags etc. in my pockets and then asked for a lawyer (on the house) paid for by the locals.

What do you think the reaction of the police would be ? (after they had removed their truncheons from my a--e)

No not an April fool thing, it needs someone hard to take the UK by the b---s and sort it out and stop pussy footing around with the scum that that is rapidly taking the place over and that includes all races inc. our own.

I suppose it is our now delayed pensions and my hard earned taxes, that yes I still pay there, that are subsidising the legal aid for these people.

Just on the subject of legal aid..I saw a programme on BBC this past week, think it was Panorama, where lawyers were complaining that the legal aid had been cut by the conservatives in the past year (or similar) and it followed one or two people who were presenting their own defence in court. Of course the legal aid lawyers were complaining as they have been stopped from charging taxpayers megabucks for defending lots of cases. So - something has been done in that direction, or so I believe.

Agree with first post. Problems arise from this politically correct crap and over populated immigration. In some London boroughs English is not the first language!!!!! What does it cost UK population to bring in interpreters. In doctors, hospitals, social services centres etc etc. we talk of the NHS service being bankrupt but how many sitting in A and E have ever paid into the system. Immigrants getting childrens allowance to send back to where ever they come from. There will always be people who need looking after, in my thinking let us look after our own first. Also now I'm on "one" why do we send foreign aid to super rich countries. I've got to stop right now. No doubt I'll be back after other posts.

I saw that programme re legal aid. Think they were family courts where most do need legal brains, how come Asil Nadir (I think) got legal aid and other well off people. No doubt there will be a retired solicitor who can clarify this.

Our poor deceased servicemen who gave up their lives for"Great Britain" must be turning in their graves.

Why should it concern you who have made your HOME North Cyprus many of you have already stated on another thread that you would never go back to the UK. So please do not worry yourselves let us that live here sort it.

last time i was in london,had to get the bus at one time to somewhere..believe me..it was a double decker and i was the only white man on it.
i think all these asians..and foreignors should be kicked out..
some of those dirty indians that they they are middle class are so arrogant they think london belongs to them.
they come from all over...once they get into the uk they demand equal rights..
anywhere ive been,even in cyprus...i dont feel im having equal rights!

Was quite a long road from Shear Brow to Whalley Range .. Along the way I counted 17 Asians & 1 white person .. That is 45 years ago .. Hate to think what it is like now .. Asian mayor, more Asian town councellors than white ones .. Would I go back ..

Hardly comparable Deniz1 because no foreigner here would ever get state support - and that is the crux of most posters argument. No pension, no unemployment benefit, no child allowance, no health care, no legal aid - because we haven't paid into the system so rightly we are excluded from such benefits.

Posters are only asking for UK immigrants to be treated as TRNC immigrants - that doesn't seem an unreasonable viewpoint to me.

And TRNC is in the process of passing a new law that not only allows for immediate deportation for foreign criminals but also the confiscation of their property including their house.

I could not comment on Nigel Farrage, or any other UK MP, I have lost touch with Politics.

This was not meant to be a Topic about race. But I do feel that these people should be deported immediately and never allowed back.

If your are UK born and bred and committing these crimes, then you should be dealt severely . Maybe take a few lessons from countries who do still punish people. IE the fishmonger in Malaysia who stabbed the 2 student doctors to death, I believe he gets the mandatory death sentence.

What that means in a nutshell is that he won't do it again.

If you are an import with a UK passport (nice expression) I only came up with that one this morning. Then you should have your passport taken away and deported with the possessions and money you arrived with.

Let's get right to the issue .

The UK has turned into a mongrel society that allows anybody in ,don't need any money or education or skill .
Then they provide house ,money and help to fill it all in .

Go into any major city anf the UK is awash with immigration sollicitors in run down ethnic areas .
They don't work in some cases but not all .
I went into a mill town last week to use the main bank .
20 in front of me in the que paying large cash amounts into accounts .
Worked for ?undeclared tax free earnings from take always or taxi drivers ?
Claiming the system also ?

Now the little old couple sat on UK pension worked all their lives and can't get help .....better thought of ...no way .

The UK has gone to far ,end of story we we have allowed it ,accpeted it and now financially support it .

It isn't racist to demand your government looks after you as a tax payer born and bred citizen more than a immigrant that has been here 5 minutes and never worked or paid tax in the UK .

Sorry the vast majority of this is typical Little Britain attitude. The vast majority of immigrants we have had in recent years are working, doing jobs lazy benefit scrounging Brits would not do. Yes with them comes some bad ones but I also remember plenty of bad Brits in the past too, steaming on trains, drug dealing in my town in the UK. Working for cash taxi driving, we we hardly set them an example there I could name several builders, window cleaners, bar staff, taxi drivers working for cash whilst claiming benefits. Last time I was in the UK there was a window cleaner at my sisters wanted cash, the washing machine repair man would knock the vat off for cash.

As for Farage, vote wasted, he may have 10% of the vote but as it is an even spread he will not get many seats, not only that his policies do not stand up under scrutiny. The EU is a massive market for the UK it needs reform not ditching.

Why at every opportunity you get you ex-pats in North Cyprus pull the UK to pieces? You have made your choice get on with your life there no one is asking you to come back here. Are there no ex-pats working there illegally?

It seems so, so bad, where is admin ?

I would like to see all non-native citizens treated reciprocally to how Brits would be treated in their country.

For example, a person arriving in the UK from say Syria can only claim the same benefits a British citizen can in Syria, and same for other countries and nationalities.

A person from say Saudi Arabia to be sentenced for a crime in the same manner say that Brit could be sentenced in KSA.

A person arriving in hospital (A&E excluded) can only receive the same treatment available to a Brit in their country.

etc etc.

This topic has now degenerated to the level of the old Cyprus 44.
