Dress for a wedding

Does anybody know of a shop in Girne or east/west of Girne that sells nice dresses, midi length, with half/three quarter sleeves, for a woman over 55. Most of the shops I have tried seem to have only maxi or mini dresses. Or has anybody ever had a dress made here in one of the various tailor shops?

Thanks for any replies.

go and see Hussein Ozelcin - can't spell his name - next to the Levi's shop on the Nıcosia roundabout in kyrenia- sort of opposite Cotton and Turkcell - he is amazing - he designed my wedding dress - super - and very affordable -
very very nice young man...don't let the opulence of his shop put you off you will be presently surprised.

Hi elkiton, thanks for your pm, unfortunately I have managed to get down to a size 14, but as we go back to the uk in 2 weeks I cannot see me getting down to a size 12, but thanks for the offers, the complete outfit sounds wonderful.

Regards, Sandra

Oya Gurel of Gardenia.........you won't be disappointed. The shop is situated on the same road as The Hermitage, near to the Nicosia roundabout. Big wedding dress shop.

There are plenty of tailors around who would make up the dress of your dreams (hopefully). There is a great shop in Karaoglanoglu called 'Exotic Fabrics who charge Cypriot prices. No rip offs. If you want I can look up their phone number when next passing, but maybe you don't have enough time.
