Friends went yesterday and were informed that the 3TL entrance fee had to be paid by credit card! No-one in the party had a card but luckily a Turkish group arrived shortly after them and, in return for cash, paid with their credit card. So if you are planning to go there don't forget your credit card or your passport.

Absolutely, crazy! If the cardholder is foreign then their charges will be a lot more than 3TL too.

It may be a way of preventing embezzlement. We recently tried to donate some cash to SOS outside Erdener, but they would only accept cards too.

Remember it closes on a Monday for cleaning.
