Welsh M.P. Huw Thomas as said that people who fly the England flag are Simpletons and Casual Racists and he is completely sick of it.

What does he say about people who fly the Welsh flag?

Who is he, who gives a fig what he thinks and who cares what flag is flown?

We ın Northern Cyprus can only fly the TRNC flag,and Turkısh flag alongsıde....maybe we could have new rule ın Wales,fly the 'Draıg Goch'...Welsh dragon flag,and maybe Unıon Jack(flag) alongsıde.......
I lıved so many years ın Wales,maınly North and Mıd Wales and saw the gradual change to so many Englısh comıng to the country and tryıng to make ıt more 'Englısh'......so many dıscussıons,even arguments wıth these 'ımmıgrants'when they ask why we are speakıng Welsh ?Because ıt ıs OUR language !!!! CYMRU AM BYDD.
I have loved TRNC ıt's quaıntness,and tryıng to learn the language....Hey,let's have a Plaıd Cymru government,and all Englısh wantıng to lıve ın Wales should have to learn the language.

I do not class Welsh people having the Welsh flag in England as wrong. However living in the Midlands, I did object to flags from virtually every other country in the , and stickers all over cars I Luv Jamaica etc. etc. sorry if you loved it that much then P--s off back there.

....one lıttle story before I came to TRNC,was fıshıng for salmon ın the rıver near Dolgellau.A baılıff shouted ın Englısh 'you can't fısh there,ıt belongs to Macclesfıeld fıshıng club !!!!!The baılıff had a forced swım ın Welsh water !!!He threatened to go to Polıce,but 2 of my fellow poachers were the local constabulary....!!!!!Ah memorıes....and 2 salmon,4 seatrout to take home !!!!

As a poacher I would say nobody owns the river or it's banks .
The river moves so do the fish ,so the river you bought has now moved down stream so it is no longer your river .

Wales and the north v south .
I have worked in both for 15 years ,regularly have to visit Cardiff,ponty,Bridgend,Carmarthen etc ...and also Bangor ,Caernarfon and Colwyn .....sadly the north are a strange bunch causing nothing but agro inside their own country .
The south more cosmopolitan and friendly .
Interesting if Wales had to pay it's own dole could they pay it from all that tax they don't pay ?or could they collect it from all that lamb they have ?or what about them free prescriptions .

Love NW myself as a kid like most spend every weekend there as we had a caravan .
My gran is from aberysworth so that makes half in half out also but them in the north are strange

Well I live d in the middle which I reckon was best surrounded by fields, sheep, Welsh people and more sheep. Hoffwni mynd yn ol I gymru, ! How I would love to go back, but 'does dim arian da fy'. So until I win the Lotto, I can't. But could I face all that rain again, again again, but I could always take refuge in the Uni at Lampeter or Aber and get educated .

As to the North their Welsh is completely different to the south, so it is another part of the north and south divide - but com e to thin k of it, London has one as well! So my mother taught me!

But I reckon Wales is another of those places of 'when in Rome do as the Romans so'. I did and loved every minute of my time there. Wouldn't have left, but life moved me on. It is wrong of foreigners to tryto change Wales just as it is wrong for foreigners to try and change TRNC> . Accept the place and the people and the culture and live within it, or leave. Easy relaly.

Oh and I knew one Pole there who had stayed on after WW2 but very few in Ceredigion!

Not even sure where Ceredigion is, but there were lots of Poles around Pontypridd after the War and they were readily accepted.

Ceredigion is mid Wales. Very few got up that far! The one I knew was a lovely guy and I found that the Welsh people accepted anyone who loved them and their ways - and this Pole wa s one of them!

pontypridd is of course much further south and less far too travel into the 'dark' middle of the country!!! Oh and there is only one Tom Jones as far as most people are concerned, ! Or as far as Pontypridd is concerned - maybe

My last wth some humour(I hope)....On a fly fıshıng course ın rural Wales(Trawsfynydd,Marıon)I met a Yorkshıre lady who owned racehorses.In the bar I told an antı_Welsh joke(we do make fun of ourselves)...ıt ended'twlch dyn pob saıs'.She asked what ıt meant.I replıed'Cheers and all the best'.....and she ınsısted I teach her thıs,as her vıcar was a Welsh speaker.....She learnt very quıckly..Would have loved to see hıs face when she saıd ıt !!!!! ........... ....................................

There is a large amount of Scots who do hate the English but they are happy to have the English tourist pound

Ref the above two posts and you wonder why there are so many people in Scotland,I would not say hate the English but say who the hell do they think they are,like the Americans who appointed themselves the worlds policemen,you ruled the world once and made a fine mess of things,thank you Westminster.

I grew up thinking we wee all united, But then whilst watching Euro cup or world in Greece on holiday, not sure one or the other, I was supporting Ireland and they got knocked out and they interviewed one of their fans after the game on TV and his comment was , all we need now is for England to be knocked out. NICE.

Then on a visit to the isle of Bute in Scotland, whilst waiting for the ferry, there was outing of children with their teacher the kids were aged about 8 years and one of them was tapping something on my rear bumper and the teacher said stop doing that and the child replied , Why they're only English.

On the same trip I was giving my Niece away at her wedding and I made a speech and happened to mention that we were still in the Euro Cup and Scotland had just been knocked out (just jovial) My God I thought I was going to get lynched.

I believe as a race we are quite hated, even in Cornwall and that's England.

But I think looking back in History we have caused it as a nation by thinking we had a right to own so many countries.

Difference is the jocks created an anti English vote .
