Hi All,
What are the Builders/Developers tax commitments on exchange of title?

It depends on what is written in the contract but it normally 3%.
Some developers/builders refuse to transfer thre title deeds unless you pay their tax.

Stoppaj (Sales tax) is normally 4%

The builders tax is normally included in your purchase price so you have already paid it indirectly.
Make the builder pay it,.. but how you do that is anybody's guess ?

Prior to final payment retain enough money to cover the taxes.
