I have a problem with my solar system, the water does not seem to be heating up.
It maybe a simple problem to solve. Does anybody know a reasonable solar repair shop that can a look at it for me please.

First of all I'd find a well respected plumber to get up on your roof and check it out... because there is probably a very simple problem to be sorted - it's such a simple system - water circulates through the solar panels and heats up. Something must be stopping this. Which area do you live in? It's best to get one with a local reputation for good work and reasonable charges.

Bubbles, when I read the subject I thought you were going to say that the earth is at the centre of the solar system, not the sun.
If you are getting cold water out of all your taps then it is almost certainly a problem with the solar panels.
They can block due to internal corrosion etc.

Hi I live in lapta strip
Thankyou for your comments

When we open the water is takes for ever for hot water to come through and we just wasting water (but even when the water does come through it's only very little warm.
Even when we put number 1 setting on our shower the water goes boiling!

I don't understand.

Back2back I've sent you a pm Thankyou

This time of year the water on the cold side is often very hot in itself, don't be fooled. Save the run-off for watering plants and washing up - bit of a pain but every drop counts....

We have recently switched from the gas boiler system, to the solar panels. This involves a few taps on various pipes--those that were on have to go off, and vice versa. One was missed, and we, too had no water, but a second look found the missing tap, and all was well, with piping hot water immediately available.
