Karsiyaka has water regularly, and it was coming in yesterday. Perhaps the pipe work going on in the village is affecting some people!

It depends very much where you are in Karsiyaka. We've just gone 10 days without and in the summer we are lucky to get it 1 day per week on average - and then usually only after complaining. The 'last in line' (i.e. the highest house) was 2 months without for 1 period last summer - he still had to pay for 20 tons though. My first year here I got 1 ton between May and October - but that was under Karsiyaka (pre-Lapta) rule so at least I only paid for 1 ton.

This must be so difficult to live with, I suppose if on holiday's a novelty, but long term not fun.

We are so lucky in Baspinar around 8 years and water 24/7 365 days a year and you can drink from tap. I still buy 19 Lt. containers for drinking but only because of the mineral content.

All cooking etc. use tap water. Feel sorry for you people in that situation and hope it improves WHEN ?? we get the water form Turkey anytime now
