Merit Hotel - Loud Music

Since Saturday night, the Merit Hotel (not sure if it's the Merit Royal or the new one on the other side) has been pumping out super-loud music from 9am-3am. I'm happy to put up with music at the weekend but it's a real nuisance during the week. Can't sleep, even with double glazing. I tried phoning 123, told to press 9, and then had total silence. Any ideas as to what steps I can take to complain - Alscancak Belideye? police? or what?

First call I would go to the source and speak to the manager. If you don't get satisfaction then call the police.

I was at the Merit Royal Alsancak 3 of the nights you mention at the times mentioned and I did not hear a thing , not doubting you but is it definitely the Merit.

Johnny - Feel free to come to our place at midnight and hear the disco music from the Merit, no other place it could be.

It is the gau spring fair we live in edremit it's driving us mad can be heard for miles I think the last night is tonight or tomorrow

Part of the GAU spring fair must be taking place at the new Merit Hotel, not the Royal but the latest one next to it. It was on for one and old last night but I've bought ear plugs so survived. If the Royal is well sound-proofed, you might not hear it inside, but the music is outside on the beach. I usually take things as they come but it's been really inconsiderate.
