Hi who does 3d films on a memory stick ?

I doubt you could buy a memory stick big enough .
Film is around 4.7 gb ,when a me lemony stick large ones around 64 mb? Somebody may know different but I ow oiled think cost of stock would be effective if they did one .Best option if you are looking for entertainment say on a flight etc is to buy a external hard drive and store that way .
Let's see what people suggest

Most memory sticks have a maximum single file size of 4gb. you could use an AVI splitter to cut it up into bite sized chunks...

I have several 64GB memory sicks - cheap enough on eBay, and I see that 128GB ones are also available...

There are 2 file systems generally used nowadays with Windows and compatible devices - FAT32 and NTFS. Fat32 has a maximum file size of 4GB which, as previously mentioned, is too small for good 3D - Avatar in Blu-ray 3D format is 46GB. However, most memory sticks (even the biggest at 64GB) will not permit NTFS formatting and some TVs will not read it anyway - my Lecla does even though it's manual says FAT32 only.
So before anything check that your tv will read NTFS formatted storage devices. If that is OK then do as suggested and buy an external disc drive with a USB connection (ensuring it can be NTFS formatted) and interchange this between PC and tv. Then you can download all the 3D movies you want free of charge from torrent sites.
An external drive will be double the price of a big memory stick but you will be talking minimum 500GB - I paid 300tl here for a 650GB Samsung although it was much cheaper if anyone had been due from the UK.

Keith I wasn't suggesting that 4gb is the size of the stick - you can obviously get quite large ones these days but 4gb is the largest single file you can normally put on one.... This is because of the old x86 FAT32 (File Allocation Table for 32bit processing) limitation on file descriptors I think. 256x256 = 65536x65536=4,294,967,296 nowadays they regard 4gb as 4000000000 but I'm old school.
however there is a work around in that films can be chopped up into bite size chunks and watched in order - giving time to nip off for a cuppa or in your case the loo!
