Don't believe it, just as the Opening Ceremony starts, we have a power cut here in Alsancak!

I was at a wedding, sowouldn't know. Wonder how wide the power cut was.

Well it came back on at 12.30 here, so missed almost all of the ceremony apart from what I could watch on BBC on tinternet.
Back to UK today, & hubby has recorded it, so will get to see it afterall.

Absolutely magnificent . The Organisers and all taking part last night should feel very proud.
Just Brilliant. Turn the sound up in parts to get the full effect, if you have recording it..
