Anyone else experiencing problems with receiving mains water and know when the supply will resume in Zeytinlik?

We are in Zeytinlik and we have had problems for several months with the local mains water supply pump frequently breaking down. Last week we were without water again for two days but it returned. This morning water pressure dropped dramatically but increased after a few hours. Water pressure dropping and no mains seem to be frequent in our area. We are lucky to have a Turkish neighbour who I inform and he phones the local water office for our development.
Regards, Helena

Bellapais, no water yesterday or today. They appear to be conserving it. Happens every year.

I live near the bypass in Girne. No water for over two weeks due to broken pump. Or so I was told by the neighbours. There are water delivery trucks coming day and night in our street. Does anyone know for sure if its a broken pump?

The water starts to be rationed this time of the year in Karsiyaka, and always has been (the last eleven years anyway). Once the rains stop then it is two or three times a week, unless you are actually in the village where I believe it is more or less constant. I find the situation worsens when the school breaks up for Summer. As we had a very wet winter, I assume that water should be more plentiful this year especially since we are expecting the imminent arrival of Turkish water.
