Yesterday I decided to enter the Guinness Book of Records to see how fast one could descend a flight of approx 12 stone steps in Girne. I reckon if you roll down sideways, its about 10 seconds!! Not to be recommended. I was in Girne A&E within about 10 mins, Straight into A&E and examined by a doctor, BP taken, injection for Tetinus. wounds cleaned.no bones broken, but God am I bruised and grazed and aching today. Cracked rib(no treatment)damaged toe, sprained thum, but other wise fine!!!!
Still don't know if I got the record!

Owl Lady sorry to hear of your misfortune. Thank God no broken bits. But as we get older we certainly don't bounce so well.

Get well soon.

Regards Lee

Thank you to all who have sent messages. I am OK but very sore around the ribs .Keith, laughing is not the problem, but for God's sake don't cough!!I am still able to get out and about, other wise I would go up the wall!!.Could have been a lot worse, if it had been head first, probably wouldn't be here now posting this. :ps friend says there were 14 steps ,she counted today!!!

Hi Wendy. I am OK battered and bruised but lucky to be alive. See you at the NCCCT coffee morning at the Malpas Hotel (plug) if not before.
