Faulty HDMI socket on TV can it be repaired?
My HDMI 1 socket on TV sparked and a bang now does not work now have to use HDMI 2 for both TV and video just change over cables does anybody know if it can be repaired or will I have to keep changing cables. Of course the guarantee ran out end of last year!!!

Provided that not too much damage was done to the printed circuit board, then a repair might be feasible, although I don't know how many repairers here would be equipped to do the job.
A simpler, cheaper option would be to go for a 'HDMI switch' - there are manual and automatic versions available, with 2, 3, & possibly more inputs, see here.
At £3.19 including postage to Cyprus, you're not going to get a repair done any cheaper!
