problems watching programmes on laptop

Last night was the worst ever buffering every few seconds but for this past weeks I have not had been able to watch without any buffering. Sites like Youtube and Facebook is ok but its when i want to watch series on BBC, ITV,CH4, CH5 or IMTV, it was obvious the internet was very very slow, they all continually buffer. I could not get Multimax speed test as it has expired!. Rang the 24 hour service line only to hear they were very busy and could I ring back. By this time I was completely exasperated and frustrated and went to bed. I have done everything the lady tells me to do to undo the mains wire from the aerial on the roof etc and to my laptop all being done without any difference. Has anyone else having problems or is it just me. Any input would be gratefully received.

I down load from TVChaos and watch at my leisure, most programs available within 24 hours. If you want to see give me a call and I can show you. Beauty of TVChaos is you get all main UK channels plus some Sky dramas. Just think watch when YOU want , no buffering.

Thank you laptatony. I did send a post for your reply about an hour ago but it seems to have disappeared !. I will see what it is like tonight, as throughout the day I am still getting the buffering. Cannot seem to get in touch with MM, just recorded messages. I may take you up on the offer to show me as I have no idea how to download etc.
