I can absolutely confirm what bornunderabadsign says. Idris Fiery Ginger Beer in a bright red can in the 2nd fridge cabinet from the left among the beers.

Same logic Keith that puts sweeteners with the sweets.
But then I guess that if locals do not use such stuff they may well have trouble deciding where to put it! I think they are brilliant the way they cater for ex-pats.

Oh dear - and I thought the 'saf' meant safe (for drinking). That might explain a few things!

If you have time, try making your own - there are lots of easy recipes available on-line.
Far better quality, for a fraction of the price (though a cold can of Idris is wonderful).

Slightly off topic, but following Keith's logical mind... I remember Haber at Bells telling me that the Authorities had told him he needs a meat licence to import Mincemeat. He had to go to the minister personally as the deputy was blocking the import. So as not to lose face, the deputy insisted that Haber should get the manufacturers of the product to change its name!!

Ah yes - I remember it well...
Well - I found it, and I'm just going to try friend Mike's recommendation, - the sun is over the yardarm, isn't it?
