We are coming to Kyrenia shortly. Thinking of buying a television. While we are over.
Where is the best place to purchase. Are they very expensive?
Would it be much cheaper to buy one in the UK and fetch it over?
Help would be much appreciated.

We bought one from Vestel, 899tl for a 32".( Yes it may be cheaper in the UK but I wouldn't like to chance it.) TV came with a 2 year guarantee, was delivered and set up and the delivery guys even showed me how to connect the computer to the tv too, didn't leave until I was happy. They took all the packaging away with them, was very pleased with the service received.

If you head for the new harbour, just past Ermatas bathroom showroom there's a sign to the left for Ucuz trading, which is 'cheap' in Turkish. They are in the basement of a house across some wasteland. Really good deals on Televisions and other electrical equipment.

I bought mine a few months ago from Marks World in Karakum. I am very pleased with the TV and their customer service. I had a few problems when it was first installed getting the Apps (in particular BBC iPlayer etc.) to work and they came to my home as soon as I reported this to reload/update the software and they all now work perfectly. Pricewise the model I bought was only £100 more than John Lewis and it has a 2 year guarantee and considering the import duty/license fee of £75 to import a TV I was very pleasantly surprised. I shopped around and tried Arcelik, Beko, LG & Vestel and I found the Samsung from Marks World was the best spec at the right price for my requirements. This is the best TV I have ever had!
