I remember a Le Jardin from years ago. I think it became the now-defunct China Garden.

This has been open for around 2 yrs now as Le Jardin. Aj and Khan were running it but it's now under Aj's management as Khan has returned to Pakistan. Give it a try you won't be disappointed.

Is Al Shaheen still open, it used to get mentioned a lot on here but seems to have gone very quiet, is Imtiaz and Zafar still running it?

Yes, I ate at Al Shaheen twice when I was over in April.

Had a great curry and a brilliant Sunday roast.

The roast beef was melt-in-the-mouth.

It was Le Jardin in 1996 when I first went.

Yes Al Shaheen is still open and tonight have a Tulips charity night featuring a set meal and music by Devon.
Staff and food as brilliant as ever.
