We are going on holiday next week and called Telsim to confirm we are able to use the internet in Morocco. We purchased the internet data package last year in September and was told we had 10gb per month to use anywhere in the world. As I travel quite a bit this is extremely useful as we I used it a lot over the last 9 months. I also got the same package for my wife and my boys. On the phone last week my wife was told that they are stopping the worldwide internet usage at the end of June just like that but you will still be able to use it in Turkey and North Cyprus.

This is absolutely disgrace and my wife complained to them and was told that they are having problems with the different suppliers worldwide but my wife has since found out that if you have the red package which includes minutes and text you can still use the internet worldwide.

We told them that we are still in contract but they said it does not matter we then told them that we are going to cancel our contract but they said we cant before the year is up. We complained to the Telsim shop in Girne and the guy there told us that it was out of order and that he has had a lot of complaints and has told Telsim that they should at least honor the contract until the end and then stop it.

He has told us to complain directly to them and maybe they will change this so if you are in the same boat it may well be worth a shout. I have asked to see the contract and their terms and conditions and they are going to send it to Girne for us to see.
