Does anyone know the actual length (miles or metric) of the completed section of the Lapta Coastal Path?

I believe it is 1.5km from one end to the other.

If the coastal path was built with the help of EU money, why do European norms not apply? Go to any similar facility in Italy, South of France etc. and everyman (and his dog) will be seen 'promenading' and enjoying the facility - especially in the evenings.
The path is undoubtedly more popular now than when first built. It is still grossly underused, however, despite the great job being done by Ziggy and his very friendly cafe. Remove the petty restrictions I say!

We usually start at Sardunya bay cafe, leave the car there walk the full length and back and
then have lunch at the cafe. It is paved all the way seaside. Some people ignore the regulations we have met dogs off leads and kids on bikes, if everyone with dogs and kids did this then the walk wouldn't be as pleasant as it is.

I guess the only way you'll get your answer as 'fact' is to ask Lapta Belideye, if it is responsible for the walk way.

notice says no dogs on path, nothing about track on side, I take my dogs there in winter and they are on the track most of the way there and back.if anyone says anything give a shrug.
