I would look at the auctions - there's one at Chateau Lambousa and one at Sunset - both in Lapta, and they are on 'alternate Saturdays', more-or-less - see the postings here and here...

The one at Sunset does have a 'Buy it now' option on certain items, so you don't have to wait for the auction if there's something that you want now

I bought a range of new kitchen stuff last year - large fridge/freezer, dishwasher etc etc - and the best deal at that time was with Vestel. I dealt with the shop on the left side of the road going towards the Bellapais traffic lights, next to Digiturk. Deliveries all as promised, ditto installation and 3 years warranty on everything.

Arcelik for us every time. We had an apartment first and everything was from them,we sold after about 9 years and it was all still working. Now we have just renewed all the white goods in our new property with a 3 year guarantee on it all. Can't go wrong as we see it, prices are also good and they deliver when they say they will.

There is a large one in the main square in Girne, by the main car park and another just before the Wednesday market/Police station/Basis Park/large fountain roundabout.

Buying electrical goods etc from an auction is dodgy to say the least. There is no guarantee and you don't know how old or how much use the items have had. A new villa better get new if possible and Arcelik I have found to be very good all round. Haggle on price for a package.

I can recommend Arcelik by the Girne police station/park. Good advice and service.

According to this site, Arçelik's website should be at http://http//www.arcelikas.com/, but unfortunately, that doesn't seem to be working...

Thanks for that, there is a button for 'English' which takes you here

There is a 'Store Locator', but it doesn't cover TRNC... - I did try 'Mersin', but even that doesn't stretch this far
