To clarify any confusion there may be:

Bar 8.8 is holding a "Power-In-Lapta" disco night this Friday 3rd August for which there are 4 DJs and an admission charge of TL10

Castaway Bar - neighbouring this event - will be open and is retaining its free admission policy.

Sorry Gordon, but I am now confused. what are you de-confusing? are you saying that there is no event at Castaway, but that there is one next door. Did people think you were having an event? Sorry, I really am confused, but mainly there is no time given for the beginning of this event, wherever it may be. Please give a time.

I could be wrong, but I think he is saying, BAR 8.8 is having a disco on friday night with DJ.s etc. Admission is 10tl.

CASTAWAY bar, which is neighbouring, I presume this means nearby, is also open on friday night, but admission, as usual, is free.

Thanks. presumably this is to show that Castaway costs nothing to attend and with a chance to hear next door, or does Castaway have a DJ or music anyway? Still want to know when it starts.

i would think there saying that there bar is free unlike next door with a door charge even if they have entertainment ?

Sounds reasonable, but they don't say they HAVE entertainment at Castaway. I can understand a bar charging admission to cover the cost of entertainment, but I guess some rely on drink sales etc. Still confused a bit, here.

Which one are you thinking of going to Marions? why not give them a call?
