Watching movies on T.V. while using your laptop - how to.

Extended display is also useful if your laptops screen is a different resolution to that of your TV. With extended display you can run each screen (one on laptop and TV) in their natural resolutions which generally gives a better picture. If you just use duplicate then you have to have the same resolution on both displays. However extended can be confusing - you have to drag things from one display to the other and you can 'lose things' if you say drag something to the TV display and then change the TV source so its not showing the laptop output, then you can 'lose' it.
