Any one of the five requests posters should answer? We use the African Queen, but for only one trip at a time.

What!
With Katherine Hepburn?
Seriously, I've been on both Bluebird and Sabrina, and found both v. good.
Not been on the one mentioned in terry's post, but I'm sure that it's as good as he says.
They're all in competition with each other, so they mostly do try to out-do each other
The deciding factor might be the food, so it's probably as well to enquire in person, to find out just what is on offer on any particular trip...
One year, as we strolled around the harbour on July 20, we were offered the chance to go on one of the boats (and I forget which one ) to join the Captain and his Family if we made a small donation (left to our discretion) towards fuel.
We were overwhelmed with food and drink, and hospitality, and were so pleased that we ended up donating far more than we would have been charged!
Hope that you all have a super time.

BBQ on a wooden boat can be very dangerous!

Went for a evening cruise on Sunday on the African queen and it was the worst boat trip ever.we found out later all other trips were cancelled due to the rough sea. As soon as we left harbour the boat was all over the place it was impossible to get to the bar. We sailed past kevanseray, escape beach and all the way to Lapta a truly awful trip then we turned and sailed to the new harbour where they started to cook after a three hour trip we were eventually fed a very very inferior meal. Never again on that boat.

No I realise and the food was far below the standard of yours and the rest.

I know I am a bit biased as my friends own the two Sabrina boats and in fact I worked on the boats a few years ago but they really do put customer safety first. Sometimes customers insist on going out despite warnings about the weather so its straight round to Oscars bay. I can vouch for the quality of the food as I help prepare it sometimes.
