For overseas bank: Confirmation of TRNC residency

Hello, everyone. I will be coming to live in the TRNC soon and have a query: When you get a residency stamp in your passport, do you also get a piece of paper/certificate confirming your residency?
I am looking to open a bank account elsewhere. The bank will need official confirmation that I am resident in TRNC. A residency certificate (which I can have translated) would be sufficient.
If you are given a residency certificate, does it include your TRNC address? It may take some time to get a utility bill in my name.
Has anyone else been in a similar position, needing a document to confirm your TRNC residency and/or address? I would appreciate any advice on the best solution.
Many thanks
Dana
