Unrest in Turkey and the involvement with bombing Syria/ISIS. My money is on 4.50tl.

Sterling now 4.48tl. Any views about when tl is going to stop sliding?

With the uncertainty of the political situation in Turkey and the necessity for a new election this Autumn- it may hit 5tl-£1

The down side for the locals is that they only see the lira going down in value - with no UK source of income, it's hard times for them...

Lot of new fancy cars on h.p. Payments in sterling.
Anyone buying a used car now will be able to pick up a bargain.

Bit strange, bank and ex exchange rates giving 4.59tl to the pound. Exchange shop in Girne giving 4.4tl. I know the exchanges give a slightly lower rate but not that much. Any thoughts

i got 4.53tl in the alsancak exchange shop yesterday.
