Questions about a registering a Will

Does anyone have any recent experience of posting a new will in the TRNC. I am intending to register a new one due to a change of family circumstances and divorce, so I don't need any advice relating to the format or drafting of a will. The more mundane questions are, (A) How much does registering a new will cost? Or how many postage stamps do I need on the document? and (B) Can the named Executor to the new will also be a witness signatory to it? May thanks in advance.

Did ours fairly recently. The cost was about 47 tl with stamps. Go down to the courthouse. The lady is called Feliz and she will tell you what stamps are needed which you can get from the post office next door.. Your executors can also be signatories. You will need to take passports, together with your signatories. Very simple process. You will be given a receipt with a number on it and they will hold your will in the courts. If you already have one lodged, then give Feliz the receipt and she will find it and tear it up in front of you. Hope this helps.

Spot on advice from mrsgee. Did the same recently to negate errant advocate and his high charges. However, we did not require our witnesses to attend with us.
