A turkish man is sending text messages out on Viber warning people not to adopt animals from KAR as they are all sick, he says he can supply dogs and cats for a small price but dont tell anyone at KAR. This is entirely bogus. and untrue.

People have been stealing animals to order. How do we know he is not involved in that?

Could this be a "chinese whispers" version of this story - with the RSPCA as good guys being transformed into KAR, who then become the baddies!

Thank you for the warning! I don't think its funny either, KAR have posted a message as well and I think with everything going on with the animals they have enough to contend with without malicious postings.....

I think you have misunderstood the post by come_on_aylin pointing out the ridiculous (laughable) nature of the man offering dogs and cats for SALE on the basis that other dogs are unwell...

TRNC government should ban the sale of dogs outright as there surely can be no logical reason for anyone to purposely breed dogs here given the overcapacity and parlous state of a large number of dogs as it is...

I think that all of us who post here on a regular basis realise that sometimes the idea in our heads doesn't always translate easily into text on the screen, and it is very easy for others to misunderstand our intention if they do not know us very well...

Knowing the good work that come_on_aylin and her family do with animals, I find it impossible to imagine that she meant anything deleterious in regard to the welfare of animals, I think that she meant that it was just ludicrous for anyone to imply that KAR are doing as the texts imply, and that it would be laughable to suppose that anyone would believe this sick person, and the scenario that he (she??) describes.

Being 'much misunderstood' myself (having got myself into similar 'fixes' ) I can only sympathize with come_on_aylin, and ask you to cut her a little slack...

Let come_on_aylin off the leash.
