Is it me, I do hope so then maybe I can understand the stupidity of it all.
Recently we have seen the self proclaimed leader of the free world visit his ancestral home land. Here he proclaims in a speech his discontent with the treatment of gays or lesbians and the lack of understanding at self same relationships. During this same overseas visit he made comments in another country about civil liberties and peoples freedoms. This from a leader in whose country one cannot go to the cinema or church or school without someone coming in with a gun and killing innocents! Here is someone who also made pronouncements on the U.K’s need to remain close to Europe and the E.U. in particular while inside his own country riots take place in cities because of police killings, be they racially motivated or crime related! His country is also one of the greatest contributors to the greenhouse effect and we should not forget worldwide terrorism and instability. So is it me and are these not more important issues into which one should stick their nose?

No it's not just you minion. Obama has turned out to be on the greatest disappointments of my adult life. I look at him sometimes and I get the distinct feeling he's just as disappointed in his own performance.

Obama and many other leaders in many other (supposed) democratic countries turn out to be disappointments to themselves and more so to their people. This is generally because the opposition (and frequently the populace) does not permit that leader to do everything he/she desired.
Only a dictator is that successful, and usually not to the benefit of the many......
